SAMS has been producing original technical manuals since 1946 for a wide range of consumer products. We've been recognized as a staple in the repair shop business for over 50 years. Over time many manufactures have turned to us to warehouse their service and owners manuals. We now provide several different types of manuals, each type of manual has its own unique set of included materials. You'll find additional information about each type of manual below. This item is a SAMS Photofact® original manual which contains a complete set of schematics with voltages, wave forms, component location guides, parts list and service adjustments covering TVs, VCRs, radios, audio equipment (MHF) etc.
This item is a SAMS Quickfact original manual which is designed to help with the repair of newer TVs including LED, LCD and Plasma televisions. These manuals include a power supply schematic, a board placement diagram with connector charts, component locations, service adjustments and parts list.
This item is an OEM service manual which contains the manufacturer's service data that they release to repair centers. These may contain some detailed drawings, diagrams, schematics or parts list provided directly by the manufacturer at their discretion.
This item is an OEM owners manual which is the operating manual you get when you purchase a product. It usually contains a small troubleshooting section for connecting to other peripherals and equipment. These almost never contain detailed drawings, diagrams, schematics or part lists.
SAMS now has a complete set of Perpetual Troubleshooter's Manuals by John F. Rider available through our website. These manuals cover radios and televisions made from 1925 to 1950. Each Rider Index lists brands alphabetically, and under each brand the models are listed by model # or chassis #.
